Our herding team brings a combined 80 years of experience herding animals through Alberta, BC, and Europe. 

 

Owner & Chief Animal Officer, Daniel Feldman, has worked in the environmental industry for most of his career with a primary focus on mega solar projects. Growing up in a family of environmental entrepreneurs and project developers, Daniel developed an early taste for sustainable operations. His belief in a “Better Solution” has resulted in a network of ranching operations in Southern Alberta.  The focus is raising sheep and goats for use in regenerative land management and the displacement of chemical pesticides.

 

Land Manager & Shepherd, Agnes Thomas began her ranching work with goats and cows at 18 years old. After bouncing around on different sheep ranches, Agnes started a 70 goat dairy ranch on 52ha in the South of France.   In the early 1990s she moved to Canada, and  in Clearwater BC, she began her 30 year career of working with animals and grazing sheep through Forestry. 

 

Shepherd & Logistics Manager, Thomas Schenkel has been herding since he could walk. Born and raised around livestock, on ranches all over Canada, he developed a passion for training animals.  Thomas specializes in colt starting, dog breeding and training of herding & guardian dogs.
